A small leakage circuit breaker is mainly composed of a circuit breaker part and a leakage current component (tripper). The circuit breaker part includes contacts, shell, operating mechanism, electromagnetic system, tripping mechanism, arc extinguishing device, etc., which can realize overload and short-circuit protection; the leakage current component consists of zero sequence transformer, electronic discrimination control circuit, electromagnetic tripping system and tripping connecting rod, etc., which is used to detect and process leakage current.
Working principle
Under normal circumstances, the vector sum of currents in the circuit is zero, and the zero-sequence current transformer has no voltage output. When a leakage fault occurs in the circuit, the current vector sum is no longer zero, and the secondary output terminal of the zero-sequence current transformer generates a voltage, which turns the thyristor on, and the electromagnetic tripping system operates, pushing the tripping link to trip the circuit breaker and cut off the power supply within 0.1s, thus playing the role of leakage protection.
