The LMS1-LA3 Solenoid-type ATS (also called solenoid-operated ATSE) is a PC Class dual power automatic transfer switch that uses a high-speed solenoid driving mechanism to achieve fast, reliable switching between two AC power sources (mains & generator). Designed for 50/60Hz, 230/400V systems, with current ratings from 63A to 630A, it ensures uninterrupted power for critical loads where downtime is not allowed.
1. Model Meaning
2. Key Features
- Solenoid Drive, Ultra-Fast Switching: 100ms-level transfer, minimizes power interruption
- PC Class, Full Isolation: 3-position design (Source 1/Off/Source 2) with complete physical isolation
- Wide Current & Voltage Range: 63A–630A, 3P/4P, 230V/400V AC, 50/60Hz
- Built-in Intelligent Controller: Auto/manual mode, voltage/frequency monitoring, delay adjustment

- Optional Communication: RS-485/Modbus for remote monitoring & control
3. Technical Data
3. Terminal block instruction

Start generator: when fault occurs in the normal power, this port will connect after delaying sometime.
Normal close: When the normal power of ATS is in closing state.closing signal without power is output from this port.
Standby close: When the standby power of ATS is in closing state.closing signal without power is output from this port.
Normal earth wire: When ATS are 3 phases, the normal earth wire is connected into this port.
Standby earth wire: When ATS are 3 phases, the standby earth wire is connected into this port.
Remark: The normal earth wire and standby earth wire is just suitable for ATS of 3 phases.
4. Installation dimensions

5. Applications
- Data Centers & Server Rooms: Ensure 24/7 power for IT equipment
- Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities: Life-saving devices & emergency systems
- Commercial Buildings: Malls, hotels, airports, high-rises
- Industrial Plants: Manufacturing lines, compressors, pumps
- Telecom & Communication: Base stations, network rooms
- Emergency & Fire Safety: Fire pumps, emergency lighting
6. Why Choose Solenoid-type ATS?
- Faster Than Motor-Driven ATS: 100ms vs. 2–5s, critical for sensitive loads
- Higher Reliability: Fewer moving parts, lower maintenance
- Compact & Cost-Effective: Smaller footprint than motorized ATS
- Proven Safety: PC Class isolation prevents backfeed & arc faults
- Easy Integration: Works with standard generators & distribution panels
