CJ40 AC Contactor 63~1000A

CJ40 AC contactor (hereinafter referred to as contactor) is mainly used in power system of AC 50Hz or 60Hz, and rated voltage up to 660V or 1140V, and rated operating current up to 1000A, for long-distance switching on/off the circuits, and it can be used with appropriate thermal overload relay or electronic protection device in a combined way, in order to protect circuits that may subject to operating overload.

CJ40 series AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors) and may be combined with appropriate thermal relays or electronic protection devices to form motor starters to protect circuits that may be overloaded. Mainly used for AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated voltage to 660V or 1140V, current to 1000A in the power system make and break circuit.

Normal working conditions and installation conditions

3.1 ambient air temperature shall be -5 °C + 40 °C with an average of + 35 °C within 24 hours.

3.2 altitude: not exceeding 2000m.

3.3 atmospheric conditions: * at high temperature + 40 °C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50% ; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures

E.g. 90% at 20 °C. Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation due to temperature changes.

3.4 pollution level:.

3.5 installation category: Class III.

3.6 installation conditions: the inclination of the installation surface and the vertical surface is not more than ± 5 ° .

3.7 shock and vibration: the product shall be installed and used where there is no significant shaking, shock or vibration.

Main parameters and technical performance

4.4 action conditions: Pull-in voltage: (85-110%) US; release voltage: normal (20-75%) US, the rest (10-75%) US.

4.5 coil control power supply voltage US: AC 50Hz, 110V, 127V, 220V, 380V; DC 110V, 220V.

4.6 mechanical life: 10 million cycles below 250 years, 6 million cycles between 315 and 500 years, and 3 million cycles between 630 and 1000 years.

5 structural features

The contactor is a direct-acting structure, the arc extinguishing system of the contactor is located at the upper part, and the electromagnetic system is located at the lower part. The contactor is made of silver alloy with double breakpoints.

Products 63A and above come with six pairs of auxiliary contacts in three combinations (see Table 2) .

On the one hand, it has the advantages of high breaking capacity and high reliability.

7.1 the following points should be specified when ordering contactors:

7.1.1 the complete name and model of the contactor;

7.1.2 the rated operating voltage and frequency of the coil or the specification code;

7.1.3 auxiliary contact combinations, if not specified, 4 normally open and 2 normally closed for specifications 63A and above;

7.1.4 quantity ordered.
